I might have missed it but I’d like to add or emphasize for the Product Owner role, that the Product Owner is ultimately responsible for the success of the project. And success is then defined as: “The correct things (most business value) are implemented”. The Product Owner is sometimes also referred to as “Single Wringable Neck”.
So to make the distinction in responsibilities clear: The team is, as said, responsible for reaching the Sprint Goal. The Product Owner needs to make sure that the right things get implemented.
